traffic simulation of the eight JIA-class from the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern, worked on from 2017 to 2020
The JIA-project VIII was thought as a part of MINT, being attended by the students of the schools special gifted program. Being allowed to chose the topic ourselves, we finally set out goal in programming a simulation of Kaiserslauterns traffic flow, especially of the busses routs and stops. This gives us the opportunity to spot possible problem zones, showing delays more accurately and finally being able to improve traffic flow. Here you can see the results of our work:
